Shortly before I was pregnant with my daughter I did a series of waves. I have always been drawn to the ocean- its vastness and power- and needed to know how it felt to paint it. I hung the original painting on the wall where I gave birth to my son several years ago. When I received the prints of this painting I was very excited to see how well it mirrored the original.
