This is a painting of my oldest and I as we neared the end of our breastfeeding journey. We worked so hard to ensure I was able to breastfeed her. Shortly after she was born her weight and my supply dipped. With the help of my husband and my mom I nursed her, pumped, and supplemented with formula as needed. After a week or so her weight was increasing and my supply was back. After that I was able to exclusively breastfeed her for over a year. I am so grateful.
